Genie Exhaust is a Specialist Automotive Repair Workshop located in Booragoon, close to Garden City Shopping Centre. We are a West Australian family owned business and wish to employ good quality people who will work well with us and who want a long-term position.  We service and repair all makes and models of cars but our passion is old school. We pride ourselves on our quality service at fair pricing and enjoy building great relationships with our customers.

This role as a Mechanic or Fabricator in our business is pivotal in continuing the growth of both the business and to maintain the great customer service values of our business.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Servicing and repairs to all make and models of cars.
• Exhaust fabrication and fitting (we will train if necessary)
• Welding and oxy cutting
• Handling both customer and supplier communications in person, by phone, and via email as required from time to time.
• Occasional Saturday mornings as required
• 8 am – 4 pm plus overtime as required

ABOUT YOU

• Experienced light vehicle mechanic with skills on many makes and models OR a welder/fabricator.
• Preferably someone who has worked in an independent workshop.
• Experience with performance, muscle, classic, and vintage cars will be highly regarded.
• Prefer a Trade Certificate.
• Holder of a West Australian Repairers License highly regarded.
• Current CLEAN WA Driver’s License
  (a WA Police driving report will be required from the successful applicant)
• Current and clean Police / Criminal Record
  (a copy will be required from the successful applicant)
• Good & well-stocked personal tool kit.
• A neat and organized worker who takes pride in their job.
• Must be able to work quickly but produce quality workmanship.
• Good sense of humor, team player, and can-do attitude.  Variety is the spice of life and you must be adaptable to a variety of jobs, vehicles, and situations.
